​Erick Alcaraz Romero is a Mexican Cinematographer and On Set VFX Supervisor based in Mexico City. Fascinated with the moving image since his youth, Erick seeks to explore aesthetically expressive visual style and storytelling in his work.

Since his completion of studies at the West London University - Metfilm School,  Erick has worked as a freelancer in a variety of feature films, commercials, music videos and TV shows including Bardo (A False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths), Dark Harvest, Pedro Páramo, Washington Black, among others.

His sensibilities, technical knowledge and intuitive approach to the filmmaking process has been shaped by his experiences working alongside filmmakers such as Alejandro J. Iñarritu, Rodrigo Prieto, James Mcquaide, Darius Khondji, Robert Richardson, Antoine Fuqua and David Slade.
